My name is Helena Cinkova. I was born in Trutnov, Czech Republic. I graduated from Charles University in Prague with double major in math and ge

ography and the teaching thereof. I moved to the United States with my husband and two daughters in 1996.

For the first couple of years I worked as a teacher’s assistant at Giannini Middle School in San Francisco and prepared my daughters for passing their annual Czech language and history exams in Czech school in Prague.

After moving to Morgan Hill I worked as a consultant at MathMagics Inc., where I developed educational math software, and I also taught Czech language to non-native speakers at Berlitz Languages Inc. Currently, I am employed as a substitute teacher at Morgan Hill Unified School District. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy sports and traveling.
