I have been teaching Czech in the Czech School of California since February 2013. Teaching and studying languages is my passion. I have a Master’s degree in Czech Literature and Language and Translation Czech-German from the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University in Prague. I taught German and Czech for foreigners in several language schools in Prague and also worked as a translator before I came to the USA in 2004. After coming to the USA, I worked in the Administrative office of UC Berkeley Extension and also as a Placement Director in AuPairCare.

After the birth of my two children, Sara and Adam, I became interested in yoga and worked toward getting a Yoga Teacher’s Certificate that would enable me to teach yoga to children and adults. I currently teach yoga in a preschool in Oakland and also give private yoga classes. I am also working towards becoming a certified Yoga Therapist.
