The information session takes place at the JCC Palo Alto on May 8th, 2013 from 6 p.m. till 8. p.m.

Traditional Czech Cuisine

On March 19th, the Czech School of California will be hosting its first Traditional Czech
Cuisine event, a unique opportunity to come together, network with the Czech community, enjoy fabulous entertainment by students of the School, and sample over thirty delicious, traditional Czech foods – including soups, main courses, and a vast variety of desserts!

Adult classes
Location for our adult class: 3451 Golden Gate, Lafayette
Duration: 2 hours once a week
Dates and times: Classes are offered on Wednesdays from 6.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m
Class overview: 1,5 hours of language instructions: 0,5 hours of history and culture of the Czech Republic
Children classes

Location for our Broučci, Myšáci and Czech as a second language class for children: 3205 Stanley Blvd, Lafayette
Duration: 3 hours once a week
Dates and times: Classes are offered on Saturdays from 9 p.m. – noon
Pre-Myšáci class – preparation for the September 2013 – January 2014 class will be offered on Fridays from 4.30 – 6.30 p.m. at the Stanley Blvd. location. Unlike our regular 3 hour Saturday Myšáci class, the Friday class will be only two hours long. If you would like to apply for this class, please email Mrs. Zuckova at zuckova@czechschoolofcalifornia.com.
San Jose
Classes offered: Sluníčka
Location: Almaden Community Center, San Jose
Duration: 2 hours once a week

Sample Lessons in San Francisco, January 12, 2013

As many of you know the Czech School of California is going to open its programs in two new locations: San Francisco and Lafayette. Our team has prepared one trial lesson together with an information session for parents so you can learn more and get a real taste of what it is like to learn Czech language, history and culture.

In order to plan our trial classes more effectively, we would like to ask you to fill out this simple registration form (registration is required). Please be advised, that although our trial class is taking place solely in San Francisco, regular classes will commence at both the San Francisco and Lafayette locations in March.

New Locations For Czech School of California Classes
Czech School of California is planning on opening its classes in a couple of new locations. A better idea on how many students are in each location will help us to plan accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
CZECH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR ADULTS DISCOUNT
We have great news for those of you who want to enroll in CZECH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR ADULTS program.
We are happy to announce that the class will be offered to everyone at the discounted rate of $490.
We will also be able to open the class with a minimum of 8 students starting September 2012 (Sat 9am-12pm). It is our way to serve everyone who is interested in learning more about the Czech republic, its language and much more.

TRIAL LESSONS
We just had our trial lesson on Saturday May 19. There were more than 40 kids and they had a lot of fun in the classes.
Czech School of California is opening a new music class!
As early childhood is the window of opportunity for musical development, in September 2012 we are opening a new music class for preschool kids: Neposedne Noty.
Fun filled classes of singing, dancing, movement and instrument play.
Enrolment form for September 2012
The enrolment form for the classes opening in September 2012 will be available during the sample lessons on May 19th and on our website and our Facebook page on May 12th.
Come to join us for SAMPLE LESSONS!
- Ahead of our grand opening we are offering sample lessons on Saturday May 19th from 9am to 12pm.
- The classes will take place at Hillside Church, 545 Hillsdale Ave – San Jose, CA 95136.
- Light refreshment will be served.
Choose from the following sample classes:
- Broučci – preeschoolers, age 3 to 6 years, also for the little ones of this age who do not speak English at all.
- Myšáci školáci – 1st to 3rd grade, age from 6 to 11 years
- Czech as a foreign language for children – age 6 up
